MAKING A DECISION TO JOIN

Prospective members are welcome to attend two functions in addition to our First Friday Welcome drinks to see if the club is the type of organisation they wish to join and to get to know some members. After this point,  it is expected that a prospective member will  indicate their intention of making a commitment to the club by filling out out an application form to be signed and counter-signed by two members. If they feel that they do not want to take this step they should cease coming to Network functions with the possible exception of the First Friday Drinks function which is open to the general public.

HOW TO JOIN

Membership fees are $70 per person per year or $110 for two members residing at the same address. This membership fee is payable by  March 31st each year as the Network financial year runs from March to March. For those joining the club after March any year a pro-rata membership fee would be paid until the next March when, if the membership is renewed, the full amount would be paid.  You will need to find out via a request email or by asking  a Committee Member what pro-rata fees apply to you. Fees for new members can be paid by cash, cheque or direct deposit as long as they are accompanied by our application form which must be signed by two currently financial members. Please email for an application form or make a request for one to a Committee Member at a Network function.

The membership fee covers administrative costs, insurance and advertising as well as the subsidising at least one or two  events per year such as the Christmas dinner dance.  A monthly newsletter is sent out to all financial members with full contact details and information regarding our monthly events.

All functions and activities are organised by our members who are expected to run at least one function per year. This ensures that there is always a wide variety of functions available.  If a member has not run a function before, the Committee is available to assist with advice and support.
